Here in Iowa they have developed a new strain of corn. It's called the compass strain. All of it's leaves point north. Seems all the growers are raising it.

I've come to the conclusion that in Iowa, pasture raised beef and free range chicken still means corn fed!


I also noticed that the 10% ethanol addition to our gasoline has also had an impact on the poor farmers.

The Light House on Panorama Lake.

This lake is located right outside of the town of Panora. I think they named the lake after the town.
