The next few pictures were taken by Linda, one of my classmates from Loara class of '67. I'm sure glad I didn't spill it while riding in on this steep driveway! ;)

According to the name tag, that's me.

Each one is only 19 at heart!

I was given the job of keeper of the Flame. I'm surprised I had my eyes on the job. :)

I just discovered that I actually had attended our 20th reunion. Sure wish I had Dave Sauro's memory.

To the Great Times yet to come!

Linda and I have been enjoying each others photography on facebook. Her pictures are beautiful, well composed, and of professional quality. Mine are.....ah.....well, you know! :)

Time to dish up.

The whole group heading to the warehouse to drink wine straight from the barrels.

Eric Metz, Classmate, Host, and owner of the Winery. He sure went the extra mile as he was suffering with a very stiff neck.

Eric's house is at the end of this road.

I rode out the Old Julian Hwy on my way home this morning and stopped to take a pic of a former chicken coup. No camera, so I hauled a$$ back to the motel and they made me a new key to get back into the room. Whew!!!! it was still there. The good news is that in the end I got to ride this fun stretch of road five times.

I came across this camel farm near where the Old Julian Hwy connects to Hwy 78. I'm still puzzled about why anyone would raise them, I hear they taste like chicken.

Meanwhile, back in AZ

The native creatures are enjoying the nice weather.

They are having a good laugh over something!

Needing to have a good start to this big day I stopped at The Ramona Cafe and had their seafood omelette.....so good!

Next door was the London Bakery and I liked this sign and the two girls.

The future King and Queen were there. I was invited to have my picture taken with them but I graciously declined.

I didn't, but wish I did!  What? you ask, the cinnamon roll.

I had to ride the Old Julian road which is just a short twisty road through the Ramona area. Fun!

Can't remember, this was either the first or second house built in Ramona.

Still helping after all these years

Our classmate Eric Metz owns the Lenora Winery and is hosting this last event of the Loara HS class of '67 reunion.

I arrived early to get some good parking. :)

Linda arrived earlier and was busy helping Eric get everything set out.

40# sack of chips should last!

Even healthy stuff!

All set up for the wine tasting.

Lenora is the second oldest winery in the Ramona area if I heard correctly.

Beautiful view from the porch over the vineyard.

Wine Tasting-Let the party begin!

It's a girl thing!

Must be contagious!

50 years is a lot to catch up on!

The beauties and the mathematician.

Paying close attention

Debra, she brought me a special gift! I was so excited!!!

More wine tasting. We drained the bottles so were draining the barrels now.

We sure had a nice visit, so fun. We did miss all that weren't able to make it, but we did drink the wine you were supposed to have.......thanks. :)
